So we explored Daytona Beach. We were both expecting a little something different, but we enjoyed the walk. We were also glad we weren't sailing as there would have been goose bumps. But Daytona Beach!

And Now….New Symrna Daytona
The captain got thinking again while underway. 😳 (I saw a dolphin, so dolphin!!) So we trucked on through to Daytona today. And....we are at a Marina for the next four nights! We will sleep well without worrying about the starting batteries not working if we drag, dragging itself, the thunk of a mooring ball,… Continue reading And Now….New Symrna Daytona
Surprises in Titusville
The morning started without the engine starting...again. To say that we are happy that the 12:1 anchor chain to depth ratio held would be an understatement. But we do need to plan for contingencies. Well, so did the centerboard and the dripless shaft seal. So we learned how to be off shore power for seven weeks. We learned our average water consumption.… Continue reading On the Road Again….Again
Happy Pi Day
Adventures in Fort Pierce
Friends, bad crossing weather, and center board issues seem to be our current theme in Fort Pierce. Jason and Barbara took the cats for their 48 hour exam certificate a week ago Thursday. The dinghy ride and walk to and from was...not fun for any of us. When we were told there was a paperwork… Continue reading Adventures in Fort Pierce
