Acadia and beyond!

When people talk about Maine, they often mention the beauty of the ragged coast line or the changing colors of the foliage in the fall. They often will mention lobster and ….Acadia Narional Park. Located on Mount Deset Island (primarily), the park is open to 3.5 million people annually (per their website) and provides some beautiful views, hikes, and perspectives that one can find in Maine.

The bar to Bar Island. Accessible for 1.5 hours before and after low tide. If you miss your window, sit back and relax. Nine hours from that point the path will be open again.
Echo Lake Beach

Carriage roads that led to hidden adventures. Thunder Hole in its different moods and appearances. Overlooks, hikes, and simply places to enjoy on the granite rocks were all amazing. An entire post could be dedicated to each, but today we just share beauty and fortune. With all of the hype and the people, try to get some time in Acadia or on Bar Island (preferably from the crowds) and just enjoy the majestic moments.

While the Precipice Trail is not for the faint of heart, it is also highly recommended when time, fluids, and shear guts are to be tempted. Go explore and enjoy.
